CONSIGNING WITH OSWEGO TRADING CO.

STEP 1: Take photos of the items you wish to consign and email them to HELLO@OSWEGOTRADINGCO.COM
STEP 2: Provide a description of your items and any other relevant information if possible ie. age, condition, maker etc.
STEP 3: We will get back to you as soon as possible regarding approval of your items.
STEP 4: If approved, we will arrange a time for you to bring your items in during business hours (TUESDAY - SUNDAY 10am - 5pm)
IMPORTANT: PLEASE NO DROP-OFFS WITH POTENTIAL CONSIGNMENTS. WE ARE VERY BUSY DURING STORE HOURS. THANK YOU! -
90-DAY consignment period
50/50 SPLIT on items sold. When your items are sold, we mail checks to your home by the 5th of the following month.
PRICES ARE REDUCED: 20% after 30 days. 40% after 60 days.
UNSOLD ITEMS: You have 2 options -
1) Pick up your item (items must be retrieved 5 days after the end of the agreement. It is your responsiblity to mark your calendar 90 days from the start of your consignment
2) Donate your items to our local charity “COMMUNITY WAREHOUSE”.
After 95 days you will need to pick up or forfeit your item to OSWEGO TRADING CO. -
We collaborate with you to establish pricing that reflects true market value. Our goal is to maximize your return while maintaining honest, realistic expectations from the start. For specialized pieces like fine art and antiques, we conduct thorough research—analyzing age, maker, and recent auction data—to ensure every object is positioned accurately for its worth.

We curate a sophisticated mix of unique objects, ranging from timeless antiques to contemporary pieces. Our focus is on high-quality furniture, fine art, lighting, and home decor. Please note that we do not accept beds or bedframes; rugs are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on their condition, quality and origin.
To maintain our showroom standards, all consignments must be "showroom ready"—clean, functional, and in gently used condition. We are unable to accept items with damage, smoke odors, or pet hair. As we do not offer cleaning or repair services, any items that arrive dusty, dirty, or broken will not be accepted.
